Day 1 December 22nd
Accra – Nzulezu - Takoradi
Depart Accra early morning for a scenic drive to the Western region. Head over to Beyin to begin preparations for the journey over to the Nzulezu village. Enjoy a peaceful and serene canoe ride that will last approximately 45mins. After visiting the village, you will have another serene canoe ride back to Beyin where you will have lunch on your own at Café Puerto, a lovely little Spanish Restaurant. Head to check in at your hotel after lunch and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Maaha Hotel, Takoradi)

Day 2 December 23rd
Takoradi – Grand Bassam, Ivory Coast
After breakfast, check out of your hotel; depart for a drive to Grand Bassam. You will tour the colonial city of Grand-Bassam, the former French settlement, and home to many colonial buildings. You will also visit the Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand-Bassam and the Côte d'Ivoire National Museum of Costume. Continue to Abidjan, check in at hotel and relax.

Day 3 December 24th
Yamoussoukro – Morning Mass – City Tour
After breakfast, depart, Abidjan to Yamoussoukro, the administrative capital of Côte d'Ivoire and home to the late president Felix Houphouët Boigny. Participate in a morning Mass at the cathedral. Afterwards, you will tour the Basilica of “Оur Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro”, constructed between 1985 and 1989. The design of the dome and encircled plaza are clearly inspired by those of the Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican City, although it is not an outright replica. The cornerstone was laid on August 10 1985, and it was consecrated on September 10 1990 by Pope John Paul II.
After lunch on your own, explore the city of Yamoussoukro, home to the Presidential Palace, which is now used by relatives of the late president Felix Houphouët Boigny. You might be able to approach the estate by crossing а small bridge across an artificial lake, teeming with dozens of crocodiles. These are fed in late afternoon, providing а guaranteed close-up view of this feared reptile. Drive back to Abidjan. (Overnight at Ibis Abidjan Platteau or Detente Hotel)
Day 4 December 25th
X’mas Day - Abidjan City Tour
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing of Abidjan. Serving as the capital, Abidjan is the biggest and most important city of Cote d'Ivoire. With a population of around 6,500,000 people, it is the second largest city in West Africa after Lagos. Today, Abidjan remains the economic and cultural capital of the country. Later depart for a 15 minutes drive to visit the Musée National of Abidjan which has a very large collection of over 20,000 objects, including wooden statues and masks, pottery, ivory and bronze. Afterwards, visit the “Trechville market” where you will have the chance to get all your souvenirs (jewellery, clothes, cloths, pagnes, woodcrafts). Day 5 December 26th
Abidjan – Accra
After breakfast, depart for a drive back to Accra, Ghana.
