I can't tell you how difficult it was to find a travel agent or tour company that does tours of all the places we wanted to go for such a reasonable price. I had a hard time finding a reputable company to do this tour in December.

We went to the eastern region to the Cedi Bead Factory, several historic sites within Accra, Cape Coast and Elmina Castles, Kumasi, Tamale -- then my mother went on to Burkina Faso for two days. Our tour guide and driver, Francis, was so knowledgeable and personable. Our drive from Kumasi to Tamale was unexpectedly delayed because of two bridge outages. Francis ended up driving for nearly 18 hours to take us to our destination. He was so professional and amazing about the entire, unexpected ordeal.

I would recommend Landtours hands down to anyone traveling. I will also say, leading up to the trip, the staff at Landtours were so patient and accommodating with every single question I had. My husband and I went for our 5th anniversary and we had asked if it would be possible to receive a love blessing from the Ashanti chief and queen when we visited their village. They coordinated everything and we had the most incredible anniversary I could imagine. Elvis and Daniel were funny and helpful. By the end of the trip we all felt like a big family. We asked a lot of questions about Ghanaian culture, politics and customs, and they were happy to explain everything. Our hotels were cozy and full of character. Seriously, our trip to Ghana will remain one of our favorite trips ever!
